E.ON in Sweden
E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy group E.ON SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany. The group employs around 70,000 people in 17 countries. In Sweden, approximately 2,100 dedicated employees work across the country. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we provide electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward, enabling more people to transition. With our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs.
Your role
As a People Partner with us, you will be offered a key role where you combine long-term and operational work to make a real difference. Your everyday work is varied and dynamic, where you switch between driving business-oriented strategic initiatives and handling issues that arise here and now. You will work as a partner to our managers and will be part of two management teams, with overall responsibility for People issues within your business units. In your role, you are not just a representative of your profession – you are an important part of the business, contributing to operationally oriented issues that lead to business decisions.
You contribute to creating a work environment where people thrive, develop, and perform sustainably. You work to strengthen future competencies and ensure that we continue to be an attractive employer, both for our current colleagues and for potential future colleagues. The role is much about being a safe, coaching support to managers – someone who provides guidance and builds trust in both everyday and complex situations. In your role, you support labor law issues and negotiations while proactively driving workplace environment work within the psychosocial area. You will become part of our dedicated People team within Energy Networks, where we together drive the HR agenda of the business and collaborate closely with HSE and our People organization within E.ON.
The role is based in Malmö, but you are expected to travel to be present at our various offices across the country.
Your experiences
To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you have solid experience in broad HR work where you have dealt with various People issues and are used to switching between strategic initiatives and operational challenges. We see that you have several years of experience working as an HR Business Partner/People Partner in a larger organization. You have a relevant education, such as a degree in Human Resources or equivalent, while being confident in labor law matters. We also hope that you have a genuine interest in the energy sector that motivates you to be part of the energy transition.
As a person, we see that you are curious, self-assured, and have high integrity. You are self-driven and take responsibility, and you show courage by stepping into new and sometimes challenging situations – even when the circumstances are not entirely clear. You have a coaching approach and are skilled at asking questions that open up new perspectives. With your ability to create trust and engagement, you build strong relationships with both managers, employees, and colleagues. Taking new initiatives where you see a need is something we believe you find enjoyable, while you are also good at finding the core of complex issues and seeing opportunities where others see obstacles. With us, you will be part of a team that gains energy by sharing experiences and supporting each other. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in close collaboration, enjoy bouncing ideas around, and want to be involved in finding solutions that make a difference.
